Kiyoshi Iwamoto Shoten, a long-established Kanazawa paulownia craft company, has created a ``Chokotto Tray'' that takes advantage of the unique soft and rustic texture of paulownia wood. The surface of the paulownia wood is baked and carefully polished. It's a surprisingly light and easy-to-use tray that goes well with both Japanese and Western styles.
Coffee and chocolate, tea and Japanese sweets, sake and appetizers, cafe au lait and cookies. It's an easy-to-use tray that goes with everything. When your friends come over, when you want to relax, have a light breakfast or an evening drink, just put it on for a while and you'll feel luxurious.
[Kanazawa paulownia craft] This is a traditional craft born in Kanazawa, a castle town where the traditional culture of Kaga Hyakumangoku is still alive today. Made of high-quality paulownia wood, the surface is burnt and polished to give it a soft and warm burnt surface that becomes amber and becomes more flavorful as you use it. In 1988, it was certified as a traditional craft by Ishikawa Prefecture.
[Iwamoto Kiyoshi Shoten] A long-established Kanazawa paulownia craft store founded in 1913 (Taisho 2). While inheriting craft techniques backed by tradition, we also strive to create works that suit the times.
